Privacy Policy

League Lids Limited ("League Lids", "we", "us") operates leaguelids.com. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We are a New Zealand company and comply with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 and, for our Australian customers, the Australian Privacy Principles.

What we collect

  • Order details — your name, email, phone number, shipping and billing address, and the items you purchase, collected when you place an order or start a checkout.
  • Payment information — payments are processed securely by Shopify Payments and its payment partners (e.g. Shop Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay). We never see or store your full card number.
  • Marketing sign-ups — your email address (and phone number, if you provide it for back-in-stock alerts) when you join our mailing list, use a sign-up form or popup, or request a restock notification.
  • Support messages — emails you send to our support inbox, so we can resolve your enquiry.
  • Reviews — reviews you choose to leave are collected and displayed through our reviews provider.
  • Browsing data — like most stores, we use cookies and similar technologies (including Shopify's analytics and our own tracking pixel) to understand how the site is used, remember your cart, and measure marketing. This may include pages viewed, products added to cart, device and approximate location data.

How we use it

  • To process and deliver your orders, send order and shipping updates, and provide customer support.
  • To send marketing emails and back-in-stock alerts where you have opted in. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can reply STOP to any SMS.
  • To operate, protect and improve our store, including fraud prevention and analytics.

Who we share it with

We never sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who need it to run the store: Shopify (our ecommerce platform), payment processors, our fulfilment and warehousing partners and shipping carriers (in Australia, New Zealand and, for made-to-order items, our manufacturing partners), our email/SMS delivery providers, our reviews platform, and analytics services. Each provider only receives what they need to do their job.

International transfers

Some providers store data outside New Zealand (for example in Australia, the United States or Canada). We only work with providers that maintain appropriate privacy and security safeguards.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept as long as needed for accounting, tax and legal obligations. Marketing data is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Suppression records (proof you opted out) are kept so we never contact you again by mistake.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop marketing to you. Email hello@leaguelids.com and we will respond promptly. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the New Zealand Privacy Commissioner (privacy.org.nz) or, in Australia, the OAIC (oaic.gov.au).

Children

Our store is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be published on this page.
