Machine wash cold, inside out. Hang to dry. That is the whole job.

The design will not crack or peel in a normal wash — it is made to be lived in. The only real enemy is heat: hot washes, dryers and irons age it faster than a season of games ever will.

  1. Turn it inside out and wash cold on a gentle cycle, with similar colours.
  2. Skip the fabric softener — it coats sports fabric and traps the smell you are trying to wash out.
  3. No bleach, no soakers.
  4. Hang it in the shade. No dryer, ever — one hot tumble ages it more than a season of games.
  5. Personalised names and numbers need nothing special — the same rules cover them.
Sweaty kit left in the bag overnight is where the smell sets in. Hang it out the same day, wash it when you are ready.
