Aboriginal Bucket Lid - Maroon Edition

Sale price$49.99 AUD

The Maroon Edition in bucket shape, the Aboriginal flag front and centre with Indigenous artwork in gold and maroon across the side panels. At the heart of it is BUNDAARR, the Gamilaroi word for Kangaroo. His tracks curve along the inside, following him as he hops along Country, with circle waterholes marking the land as he moves through it.

A breathable mesh strip along the base adds extra airflow, built on our Bucket Lid frame with a dual-rope system, one rope tightens around the neck and the other adjusts the head size for the perfect fit. Take it to the beach, the footy, a fishing trip, a festival, or anywhere the sun's out.

Washing & care
The 10-second version

Hand wash cold. Reshape while damp. Air dry in the shade.

The crest and the side artwork are the parts to protect, and the vents in the sides mean it rinses and dries fast. Heat and tumbling are what kill it — the brim never sits right again after a dryer.

Washing it

  1. Marks first: dab with a damp cloth and a drop of mild soap. Fingertips only over the crest and side artwork.
  2. For a full wash, dunk and swish it in cool water with a little mild detergent. Give the sweatband a rub — that is where the grime lives.
  3. Rinse, then press the water out in a towel. Never wring or twist it.
  4. Reshape the brim with your hands while it is damp — it dries in the shape you leave it in.
  5. Air dry in the shade. The vents help it along — it is usually ready the same day.
Squashed in a bag is fine — damp in a bag is not. Dry first, then pack it.
