The 10-second version

Treat the whole cap like the artwork. Gentle, cold, and never bleach.

On this one the design runs over the whole cap, so there is no safe patch to scrub — anywhere you rub hard, tumble or heat is somewhere the design wears. Gentle and often beats hard and rare.

Everyday marks

Dab the mark with a damp cloth and a drop of mild soap. Light touch, small circles.
Fingertips everywhere on this one — no brushes, no scourers, nothing abrasive.
Wipe the soap away with a clean damp cloth and let it air dry.

When it needs a proper wash

Cool water and a little mild detergent in a basin. No bleach or whiteners, even for stubborn marks — they eat the design before they eat the stain.
Dunk and swish gently, and give the sweatband a rub with your fingers.
In and out — no soaking. The peak holds its shape best when the wash is quick.
Rinse clean, press the water out in a towel, and never wring or twist it.
Reshape and dry over something head-shaped, in the shade. Never a dryer, radiator or car window.

A white cap shows marks first and forgives scrubbing least. Clean it the day it gets grubby and it stays easy to keep looking new.
