Australian South Sea Islander Classic Sports Lid

Rep the South Sea Islander community with the Australian South Sea Islander flag front and centre and artwork across the side panels that tells the story of home. The design uses five main colours, black, white, red, orange and brown, taken from the earthy, natural colours of the islands to represent the people, the land, strength and a connection to culture. The lines and patterns running through it stand for the journeys and pathways that connect the community, while the triangles represent strength, protection and island home. Flowers bring in the natural beauty of Vanuatu, along with growth and life. Through the centre the patterns come together for family, community and ancestors, and for culture and stories carried on through every generation. It is a design about being proud of where you come from and keeping the connection to Malekula and Vanuatu close. Built on our Classic Sports Lid frame, a durable five-panel with a bendy brim you can wear flat or curved and a soft sweatband that keeps it comfy all day. The strapback fits all head shapes. Rep it at the footy, the gym, the beach, or just out and about. The artwork was designed by Grayson Morgan, a proud South Sea Islander whose family comes from the island of Malekula in Vanuatu.
